Library
The Program has a library collection of over 3,000 English-language social-science publications. The library is particularly strong in South-East Asian development literature and is the largest collection of English-language development economics books in Hanoi. Copies of theses written by MDE students are available for access.
The library is open to students and non-students alike. It has an air-conditioned study room. The MDE has photocopy facilities available for use. The MDE librarian has the ability to order copies of books and articles for MDE students that are not in our collection. The opening hours for the library are Monday-Friday 8.30-11.30am, 2-5pm. The library is now located at: Room 4.4, Building 10, National Economics University, Hanoi, Vietnam. Computer room The Program has an air-conditioned computer room with 40 high speed PCs available for students to use free of charge. The computers have an ADSL internet connection and most popular softwares, and are linked through a network. The opening hours for the computer room are Monday-Friday 8.30-11.30, 2-4.30. The computer room is located at: Level 4, Building 10, National Economics University, Hanoi, Vietnam. National Economics University Campus The NEU campus has a number of facilities available to students and others, including a cafeteria, canteens and parking areas. The campus is located 10 minutes (by motorbike) from the centre of Hanoi. The campus is safe, and there is constant activity on campus from morning until night. Students should consult the notice-boards on Level 4 of Building 10 for MDE information and announcements. |
