The Graduation Ceremony for 17 students of Class 9 and 10 students of Class 10 of MDE has been organized in 27 November 2006. Prof. Nguyen Van Thuong, NEU's Rector, Assoc. Prof. Karel Jansen representative of ISS, representatives of New Zealand Embassy, Luxembourg Embassy and many International Agencies in Hanoi have attended. The Vietnam-Netherlands Masters in Development Economics (MDE) is offering 10 partly-funded student scholarships for its 2005-2006 intake, with a total value of USD 15,000. The scholarships are offered under the MDE-Luxembourg Scholarship Program.
The MDE sincerely thanks the Grand Dutchy of Luxembourg's Office for Development Cooperation, Hanoi for providing these scholarships, as well as for providing additional funding with value of USD5,000 for the MDE's library resources.
