Nhằm đánh giá, nhìn nhận lại những thành tích và đóng góp của Chương trình Cao học Kinh tế Phát triển, ngày 14/12 vừa qua, Trung tâm Kinh tế Phát triển và Chính sách Công Việt Nam-Hà Lan ( TT. KT PT và CSC Việt Nam- Hà Lan)  đã long trọng tổ chức lễ kỷ niệm 15 năm Chương trình Cao học Kinh tế phát triển Việt Nam-Hà Lan; trao bằng Thạc sĩ năm 2009 cho 27 học viên và khai giảng khóa  17.

After two rounds of very challenging Entrance Exam in September 2007, MDE has selected 29 new MDE students for Class 15. The top ten students in the list have won the MDE's Scholarships for the first semester at values of USD 500 per student. The Graduation Ceremony for 17 students of Class 9 and 10 students of Class 10 of MDE has been organized in 27 November 2006. Prof. Nguyen Van Thuong, NEU's Rector, Assoc. Prof. Karel Jansen representative of ISS, representatives of New Zealand Embassy, Luxembourg Embassy and many International Agencies in Hanoi have attended. New Zealand thesis Prize has been awarded for Ms. Do Tuyet Nhung Class 10.

The Vietnam-Netherlands Masters in Development Economics (MDE) is offering 10 partly-funded student scholarships for its 2005-2006 intake, with a total value of USD 15,000. The scholarships are offered under the MDE-Luxembourg Scholarship Program.

The MDE sincerely thanks the Grand Dutchy of Luxembourg's Office for Development Cooperation, Hanoi for providing these scholarships, as well as for providing additional funding with value of USD5,000 for the MDE's library resources.

The MDE's Book "DEVELOPING RURAL VIETNAM" edited by Joost Burman, Adam McCarty and Scott Robertson consists of 8 studies in Rural and Sustainable Development done by MDE's Sudents has been published.
