The MDE's Book "DEVELOPING RURAL VIETNAM" edited by Joost Burman, Adam McCarty and Scott Robertson consists of 8 studies in Rural and Sustainable Development done by MDE's Sudents has been published.

10th Anniversary of MDE Essay Competition sponsored by New Zealand Embassy in Hanoi has been completed. Prizes have been awarded for 8 winners in the MDE's Evening 26 November 2004. The first prize at value of 2500000VND for Nguyen Hoai An. The second prize at value of 2000000VND for Vu Minh Chau and the third prize at value of 1500000VND for Nguyen Thi Hanh. 

The MDE's Soccer Cup for Celebration of MDE's 10th Anniversay has been finished The Netherlands Ebassy Football Team won the first prize with MDE Soccer Cup 2004. The MDE Student Fooball Team got second place.

Special Edition of Journal "Economics & Development" has been publishing to celebrate 10th MDE's Anniversary. 12 academic papers from MDE's students and lecturers were selected for this edition.
