Seminars and trainingThe MDE team has the capacity to organise and manage seminars and training workshops for outside organizations. The MDE Program can organise short-term workshops on a range of different topics - including survey techniques, economics and statistics. Workshops can range from one day to several weeks. We welcome inquires from private and public sector partners seeking to arrange seminars or training workshops which fit their specific needs.ConsultingThe MDE Program has a team of professionals with consultancy experience throughout Vietnam. The Program also has strong networks of alumni, domestic and foreign experts and students from which we can draw selective support. From this team and networks, the MDE Program can place individual consultants for short or extended periods. We can also put together teams to undertake substantive assignments or to participate as local partners in project bids. MDE's consultancy is very helpful and effective for investment in socio-economic development in Vietnam.
Currently, the Program runs task forces for project evaluation, surveys and data analysis, the design and setup of management information systems and research and development strategies. The organizations and agencies in which the MDE Program implements these consulting services are the National Economics University and other universities, Mekong Economics Ltd., the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), Institute of Economics (IOE), Vietnam Economic Researching Network (VERN), Ministry of Finance (MOF), Ministry of Fishery (MOFI), and international agencies and organizations in Vietnam such as the UNDP, World Bank and Asia Development Bank. The projects are implemented in Hanoi and other provinces.
